Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow
- Prepare financial statements and monthly reporting packages
- Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation
- Implement and improve bookkeeping systems for clients
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with tax preparers during filing seasons
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) preferred
