Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records
- Process accounts payable/receivable with meticulous attention to detail
- Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts monthly
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for clients
- Manage payroll processing and tax form submissions
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for transaction recording and reporting
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and audits
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and Florida tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple clients
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) a plus
