- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Xero
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Handle payroll processing for 15-20 employees
- Assist with month-end closing and tax document preparation
- Implement internal controls for financial compliance
- Support audits and financial analysis projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Professional certification (QB ProAdvisor or similar) preferred
