Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions within established deadlines
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for 15+ employees
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and annual audits
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial processes
- Generate customized financial reports for executive decision-making
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-currency transactions a plus
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines consistently
