Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Process payroll for small business clients accurately and on time.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare financial reports and maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Reconcile credit card statements and bank accounts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
