Apex Financial Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our growing finance team in Omaha, Nebraska. Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Process payroll for a small team of employees accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks or Xero.
- Prepare and send invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure all financial data is stored securely and in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar cloud-based accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
