As a key member of our team, you'll ensure financial accuracy and provide critical support to small and medium-sized enterprises. This hybrid role offers 20 hours per week with a mix of remote and in-office work.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and maintain internal accounting controls
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audits
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Professional certification (e.g., Bookkeeper, QuickBooks ProAdvisor) a plus
