Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Prepare financial statements including profit/loss and balance sheets
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Implement and improve bookkeeping processes using QuickBooks Online
- Provide financial insights to support business decision-making
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks certification
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with multi-currency transactions a plus
