Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using cloud accounting platforms
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management accounts and VAT returns
- Support payroll processing and HMRC submissions
- Conduct financial audits and variance analysis
- Implement bookkeeping best practices for clients
- Collaborate with senior accountants on strategic financial planning
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' professional bookkeeping experience
- AAT Level 3/4 certification or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relevant degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
