Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management accounts and VAT returns
- Support payroll processing and pension contributions
- Conduct financial health checks for client portfolios
- Assist in year-end audits and tax compliance
- Generate insightful financial dashboards for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience with UK SMEs
- AAT Level 3/4 or equivalent qualification
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Relevant industry experience in professional services preferred
