Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Xero platforms
- Process payroll and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Prepare VAT returns and manage HMRC communications
- Generate management reports and financial statements for clients
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with UK GAAP
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles
- Support year-end tax preparation processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience in UK SME environment
- ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional certification
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and VAT schemes
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
