- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements
- Manage VAT returns and HMRC compliance
- Support payroll processing and expense tracking
- Assist with year-end audits and tax documentation
- Provide financial insights to management team
- Implement process improvements for efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years UK bookkeeping experience
- AAT Level 3/4 qualification or equivalent
- Expertise in QuickBooks/Xero/Sage software
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to meet deadlines independently
- Excellent communication and client management skills
