Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks
- Process monthly bank reconciliations and transaction reviews
- Prepare VAT returns and HMRC submissions
- Generate management accounts and financial statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and cash flow monitoring
- Support payroll processing and pension auto-enrolment
- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks
- Provide financial insights to client stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years UK bookkeeping experience
- AAT Level 3/4 certification or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Sage and payroll software preferred
