Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and timely payment
- Manage 3-way matching for purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledgers and resolve discrepancies
- Optimize payment cycles using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams on vendor relations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations
- Generate AP reports for monthly close and audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial controls
- Proven ability to manage high-volume payment processing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- AP certification (CAPP) or relevant bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with automated payment systems and EDI
