Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll support
- Prepare financial statements and budget variance analyses
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Assist with audits and financial reporting requirements
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data management
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional certification (e.g., AIPB) preferred
