Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll transactions
- Prepare financial statements and assist with month-end closing
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online systems
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Support tax preparation processes and documentation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks proficiency)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) preferred
- US citizenship or valid work authorization
