Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments while maintaining strict adherence to bank security policies.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and products, and provide solutions to resolve issues efficiently.
- Sales & Cross-Selling: Proactively identify opportunities to recommend and open new accounts, credit cards, or investment products to meet branch targets.
- Verification: Verify the identity of customers and validate documents to ensure compliance with federal regulations and Know Your Customer (KYC) rules.
- Operational Support: Assist with daily branch operations, including ATM replenishment, lockbox processing, and maintaining a tidy, organized lobby.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of transactions and resolve discrepancies immediately to ensure financial integrity.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; completion of a banking or finance program is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service or cash-handling experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some evenings.
- Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Regulatory: Must be willing to undergo a background check and credit check.
