As a Bank Teller, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service while managing daily financial transactions with precision.
Responsibilities
- Cash Handling: Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and night deposits accurately and efficiently.
- Customer Service: Assist customers with account inquiries, balance inquiries, and provide information on bank products and services.
- Point of Sale: Handle check cashing, bill payments, money transfers, and cashier checks.
- Product Sales: Cross-sell bank products such as CDs, IRAs, and credit cards to meet branch goals.
- Security & Compliance: Adhere to all bank security policies, anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, and compliance procedures.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate daily settlement records and reconcile the cash drawer to the penny.
- General Operations: Assist with opening and closing procedures, including vault security and ATM maintenance.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or banking is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Technology: Proficiency with basic computer applications and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
