Responsibilities
- Process and verify a high volume of invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including data entry, coding, and approval workflows.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or general bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Must be available for a part-time schedule, typically 20-25 hours per week.
