Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors in a timely manner.
- Manage the data entry of invoices into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or NetSuite).
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and billing inquiries.
- Assist with month-end close processes, including accruals and account analysis.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Perform general clerical duties to support the finance team as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
