Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process a high volume of invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Prepare and distribute payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers in accordance with company policy.
- Manage the AP sub-ledger and assist with the month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for audit readiness.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Index/Match).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
