Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness before posting.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfer, or check, ensuring timely disbursement.
- Maintain accurate vendor files and update the general ledger.
- Respond professionally to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and account details.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting tasks.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger, or related finance roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a part-time capacity.
