Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper coding and approval workflows are followed.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage the vendor database and maintain up-to-date contact information.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals and financial reporting support.
- Handle payments via ACH and wire transfers within established payment terms.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and account status.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of invoice processing, reconciliation, and payment terms.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting is preferred.
- Ability to work part-time hours (approx. 20-25 hours per week).
