Responsibilities
- Process incoming invoices accurately and verify all supporting documentation.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and issue payments via checks, ACH, or wire transfers.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor files and accounting ledgers.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and account reconciliations.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity.
