Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Perform month-end close assistance, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Assist with expense report review and data entry tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or Bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
