Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage and update accounts payable ledgers using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Prepare and issue payments via checks, electronic transfers, or ACH, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve billing issues and maintain positive relationships.
- Assist in month-end closing processes and financial reporting preparation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-2 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or general bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills a major plus.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) is required.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
