Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and budgets.
- Handle general bookkeeping duties, including data entry and filing.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding financial matters.
- Support the finance team with year-end audit preparations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles is a plus.
