Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile client accounts using QuickBooks and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99% accuracy
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and audits
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for 100+ client accounts
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- QuickBooks/Xero proficiency with certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong GAAP knowledge and attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Tax preparation experience a significant plus
- CPA or actively pursuing certification ideal
