Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and reconciliation for multiple client accounts
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheets, income statements)
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain accurate general ledgers
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with senior team members on financial forecasting
- Implement process improvements for accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience (part-time or full-time)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Experience with financial reporting and reconciliation processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Remote work experience preferred
- Certification (CPA, CMA) a plus
