Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Process payroll accurately and maintain employee payroll records.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Utilize accounting software to maintain organized and up-to-date financial data.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a part-time or freelance capacity.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax compliance regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
