Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and schedules.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform month-end close procedures and assist with budgeting support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Must reside in or be willing to commute to Nashville, TN.
