Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Process payroll for small business clients (bi-weekly)
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
- Implement accounting software solutions (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Provide financial consulting to small business clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- QuickBooks Pro certification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Detail-oriented with error reconciliation expertise
- Part-time availability (20-25 hours/week)
