Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for designated departments within strict deadlines.
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to the management team.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
