Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements, including the Profit & Loss statement and Balance Sheet.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all financial documents and tax records.
- Support the finance team with budget analysis, variance reporting, and general financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Associate’s degree with significant experience will be considered).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
