Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely submission of tax documents.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding account status and inquiries.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a part-time capacity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
