Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and routine expense audits.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general tax compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
