Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and preparing trial balances.
- Process payroll for a small team of employees.
- Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation.
- Prepare and file local, state, and federal tax documents as required.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
