- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Assist with month-end/year-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Process payroll bi-weekly and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial processes
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax season
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience (CPA preferred)
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance requirements
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) highly valued
