Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small to medium-sized clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with actionable insights
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and California tax regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Implement QuickBooks cloud solutions for client efficiency
- Provide financial consulting to optimize cash flow and profitability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years experience
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification required
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Deep knowledge of California sales tax nexus regulations
- Proven track record in multi-client accounting management
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for client advisory role
