Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) with variance analysis
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring GAAP compliance
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Support tax preparation and documentation for corporate clients
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (NetSuite experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations (Tennessee state experience beneficial)
- Exceptional attention to detail with analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently while maintaining accuracy
