Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain and organize financial records in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Support the payroll process for remote and in-office staff.
- Prepare and file necessary tax documents and quarterly reports.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (Part-time experience acceptable).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
