- Maintain and reconcile client financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Provide financial insights to clients during quarterly reviews
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of GAAP and Illinois tax regulations
