Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Process payroll for a small team of 10-15 employees on a bi-weekly basis.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including preparing trial balances.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist with the preparation of tax documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably within a small business or agency environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax compliance regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
