What You Will Do
Your primary focus will be ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and reporting for our diverse portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and payroll processing.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Perform variance analysis and assist in budget preparation for clients.
- Communicate financial findings and recommendations to the management team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
