- Prepare and review monthly financial statements for 15-20 small business clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with Maryland tax regulations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and variance analysis
- Implement QuickBooks solutions for client accounting systems
- Collaborate on tax preparation and audit documentation
- Provide financial insights to support client business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced functions
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Maryland tax laws
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
