Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with NY tax regulations
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Support budget forecasting and expense tracking initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience in a professional services environment
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and NY tax requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
