- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledgers, financial statements, and month-end closing reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payment cycles
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with payroll processing and tax compliance filings
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for clients
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects and audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- TN residency and valid work authorization required
