Responsibilities
- Manage monthly bookkeeping cycles and reconcile accounts
- Prepare financial statements and reports for small businesses
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable and expense tracking
- Support tax preparation and filing processes
- Implement accounting software solutions (QuickBooks proficiency required)
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Familiarity with Florida tax regulations
