Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with precision and timeliness
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analyses
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Assist with tax preparation and quarterly filings
- Support audit processes and internal control improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- CPA or advanced certification strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Tampa-based candidates with local business network preferred
