Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation (1099s, W-2s).
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) to track financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Collaborate with the senior accounting team to streamline financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
- CPA certification is a plus but not required.
